As a valued member of the CKC, you'll have exclusive access to the comprehensive facilities of the Burnham Sailing Club (BSC), conveniently located on the quay adjacent to the River Crouch.
Our setup includes a floating pontoon that extends into the river, ensuring year-round access without the hassle of muddy feet!!
At CKC, we regularly organise day trips away from the Crouch and coordinate exciting camping adventures for our members.
As part of our community, you'll have the opportunity to enhance your water skills and boost your confidence with the guidance of our coaches and seasoned kayakers.

Wonderful that you will be re-joining the club again this year. You need to complete a BSC form, and pay BSC directly. This fee allows access to all the exclusive benefits that BSC facilities offers, CKC do not receive any of these funds, however, we do have additional costs not covered by BSC including insurance, Paddle UK, affiliation and pool hire, we also cover all costs in relation to the purchase of our equipment, therefore in addition to the BSC fee, CKC requests each kayak member pay an additional annual subscription fee of £22 directly to CKC to become a full member. Information on how to make this payment can be found when you login to MemberMojo.
If you are an on the water member of BSC you can join us for a club led paddle on Wednesday’s by becoming a Wednesday only member at no additional membership cost. Please be aware you will not get the benefit of a discounted boat hire.

CKC maintains kayak members details through MemberMojo this allows us to keep CKC members informed of all kayaking matters and events.

The Crouch Kayak Club extends a warm welcome to both experienced paddlers and newcomers to the sport.
Please note that all members must be 18 years or older to participate within the CKC group.
Additionally, our affiliation with the BSC mandates that all members also hold on the water (not social) membership with the BSC.
To begin your membership process, kindly click on the "New Member Application Button," which will direct you to the CKC membership forms stored on MemberMojo, where we securely manage all member details. Upon acceptance, you will receive a welcome email from CKC containing a link to the BSC membership page.
This fee allows access to all the exclusive benefits that BSC facilities offer, however, CKC does not receive any of these funds. The CKC has within the grounds of the BSC a self-contained store offering a good range of modern boats and equipment which can be hired by CKC members or visiting guests.
To hire for private trips, you are require to be a member of CKC and Paddle UK. Your ability must be deemed suitable by a club coach or leader.
Please do not remove club equipment
without consent.
Note: All equipment hired outside of club led paddles must be entered into the equipment book and updated when returned.
We offer storage space for members own kayaks the following criteria applies:
a. You have been an active and full CKC member for 6 months or more
b. You will be added to the waiting list after the 6-month period has expired.
c. You continue to be an active CKC member thereafter.
d. You hold a current Paddle UK Water Membership.
e. You accept that after a 3-month period (during season) of non-activities within the club that your space may be offered to another member and you will be asked to remove your vessel.
